Evangelization in Prisons
The American criminal justice system holds
almost 2.3 million people in 1,719 state
prisons, 109 federal prisons, 1,772 juvenile
correctional facilities, 3,163 local jails, and
80 Indian Country jails as well as in military
prisons, immigration detention facilities, civil
commitment centers, state psychiatric hospitals,
and prisons in the U.S. territories.
This report provides a detailed look at where
and why people are locked up in the U.S., and
dispels some modern myths to focus attention on
the real drivers of mass incarceration.

Team Members
and
Chaplains:
I would like to take this
opportunity to thank GOD and all of you that
attended our meetings held at The Department
of Children and Families. The Share Your
Heart Team and The Department of Children
and Families would like to also thank you
for your donations and commitments. I am
excited to say that all 110 churches that
attended the meetings are now part of the
Share Your Heart volunteer chaplains
Program. I thank God for bringing His
kingdom together to do his work in our
communities. I pray for all of you, and I
ask that when you read this email, you will
pause for a minute and thank our Lord for
what He is doing.
